OM1 Duplex MM glasfiberkabel ProXtend FO-SCSCOM1D-007 7M

The ProXtend OM1 Duplex MM Fiber Cable FO-SCSCOM1D-007 is a 7-metre multimode fiber patch cable with SC connectors at both ends and a 62.5 µm core diameter. Designed for local area networks and other short- to medium-distance installations, this duplex cable supports full-duplex data transmission and is built with a transparent glass core and an LSZH jacket for reduced smoke and halogen emissions.

Advantages

This OM1 duplex multimode cable provides reliable full-duplex communication with SC–SC UPC terminations and a 62.5 µm core suitable for legacy multimode links. The LSZH outer jacket reduces toxic fumes in case of fire, and the cable is rated to operate across a temperature range from -20 to 70 °C, ensuring stable performance in typical indoor and controlled-environment deployments.

Suitable for

• Local area network (LAN) backbone and horizontal cabling
• Data center patching for short-distance multimode links
• Multimode network equipment connections (switches, transceivers, patch panels)

How to use

Route the ProXtend OM1 duplex cable between devices ensuring minimum bend radius is respected and connectors remain clean. Insert SC connectors into corresponding SC ports on switches, transceivers or patch panels until they click. For duplex links observe transmit/receive orientation or the device labelling to ensure correct pairing. Inspect connectors with a fiber inspection tool if link errors occur, and replace the cable if physical damage is visible.

Recommendations

Use this OM1 duplex multimode cable for short- to medium-distance multimode connections in LANs and data centers; for higher bandwidth or longer multimode runs consider higher-grade OM3/OM4 fibers or singlemode alternatives when planning upgrades.
