Omnidirektionel antenne DeLOCK 88450

The DeLOCK 88450 is an omni-directional Wireless LAN antenna with an RP-SMA connector, designed to extend and improve coverage for 2.4–2.5 GHz Wi‑Fi networks. It supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards, offers vertical polarization and a gain of 9 dBi, and has compact dimensions (13.5 mm × 13.5 mm × 352.1 mm) for flexible placement.

Advantages

The antenna provides a 9 dBi gain to increase signal reach within the 2.4–2.5 GHz band and is compatible with devices featuring an RP-SMA interface. Its omni-directional pattern delivers more uniform coverage around the installation point, while the vertical polarization aligns with common Wi‑Fi device antennas. The compact black enclosure facilitates discreet installation in various indoor environments.

Suitable for

• Extending coverage of home or small-office Wi‑Fi networks
• Replacing or upgrading RP‑SMA equipped access points and routers
• Improving signal strength for IEEE 802.11b/g/n devices operating at 2.4–2.5 GHz

Key specifications

• Model: DeLOCK 88450
• Frequency band: 2.4 – 2.5 GHz
• Gain: 9 dBi
• Standards: IEEE 802.11b/g/n
• Connector: RP‑SMA
• Polarization: Vertical
• Colour: Black
• Dimensions (W × D × H): 13.5 mm × 13.5 mm × 352.1 mm

How to use

Connect the antenna to a device with an RP‑SMA female port by screwing the RP‑SMA connector securely into place. Position the antenna vertically for optimal polarization alignment with typical Wi‑Fi client devices. Adjust placement and orientation as needed to achieve the best coverage and signal strength; avoid placing the antenna near large metal objects that can block radio waves.

Recommendations

For reliable results, check device compatibility with an RP‑SMA connector and place the antenna in a clear, elevated position away from obstructions. Test different mounting locations to identify the spot that provides the best coverage for your specific environment.
