Its discreet black finish minimizes visual distraction and coordinates with most AV equipment. Installation and repositioning are straightforward, allowing quick adjustments to accommodate different player sizes and setups. Constructed for indoor use, the holder is suitable for typical home entertainment environments.

Suitable for

• Mounting and organizing DVD players in home entertainment systems
• Supporting Blu-ray Disc (BD) players on shelves or inside media cabinets
• Elevating players to improve ventilation and cable routing
• Use in living rooms, home theaters, or small AV racks

Key specifications

• Application: indoor passive holder for DVD and BD players
• Finish: matte black
• Design: low-profile, non-powered passive support
• Primary function: stable device support and improved ventilation
• Compatibility: generic fit for standard consumer DVD and Blu-ray players

How to use

Place the passive holder on a stable shelf or inside a media cabinet and position the DVD or BD player on top so that the player sits evenly across the holder’s support surface. Ensure that the holder is centered and that the player’s feet are supported to prevent tipping. Route power and AV cables before final placement to maintain easy access to ports and to avoid strain on connectors. Periodically check that the holder and player remain level and free of dust to sustain proper ventilation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the ShiverPeaks passive holder on a flat, horizontal surface and avoid placing heavy items on top of the player. Keep at least a few centimeters of clearance around the device for airflow, and avoid exposure to direct sunlight or high humidity. If the player is used in a stacked configuration with other equipment, verify adequate cooling and secure cable management to prevent accidental displacement.
