Patchkabel ACT CAT6 U/UTP Litze grå 305 m

ACT CAT6 U/UTP stranded patch cable on a 305 m reel in grey, designed for production of Cat6 patch cords. The cable uses AWG24 conductors and twisted pairs to meet Cat6 performance requirements, providing a flexible and reliable option for creating custom-length patch leads for network installations.

Advantages

The stranded construction offers increased flexibility compared with solid cable, making it easier to terminate and route in patch cord production. AWG24 conductors and U/UTP design support high-speed data transmission according to Cat6 standards. Supplied on a 305 m reel, the cable allows efficient manufacturing of multiple patch cords with minimal waste.

Suitable for

• Manufacture of Cat6 patch cords of custom lengths
• Patching and short interconnects in office and data center environments
• Use where flexible, stranded Cat6 cable is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 305 m
• Cable type: Cat6 U/UTP stranded
• Conductor size: AWG24 (stranded)
• Pair configuration: 4 twisted pairs
• Colour: Grey
• Brand: ACT, MPN: EP380B, EAN: 8716065136685

How to use

Cut the required length from the reel and strip the outer jacket to expose the four twisted pairs. Arrange and untwist the pairs according to the intended termination standard (e.g., T568A or T568B), then insert into compatible RJ45 stranded connectors and crimp using a tool rated for stranded cable. Test each finished patch cord for continuity and performance before deployment.

Recommendations

For best results, use RJ45 connectors specified for stranded (flexible) Cat6 cable and a quality crimping tool. Avoid excessive untwisting of pairs and maintain proper bend radius during installation to preserve signal integrity.
