Patchpanel Telegärtner MPD24-HS K Cat.6A

The Telegärtner MPD24-HS K Cat.6A patch panel is a 24‑port rack-mounted panel designed for structured cabling in data centers, server rooms and network cabinets. It accepts Cat6A RJ45 connections and provides a standardized interface for horizontal cabling, enabling organized termination of network cables. The panel’s grey finish and compact 19" rack width make it suitable for integration into common networking racks while offering straightforward cable routing and port access.

Advantages

The panel supports Cat6A cabling performance for higher bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category panels. Its 24 RJ45 ports allow consolidated cable terminations in a single 1U footprint, saving rack space. The metal housing and structured layout promote mechanical stability and consistent port alignment, while the front RJ45 interfaces provide easy access for patching and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Data centers and server rooms
• Office network cabinets and telecommunications rooms
• Structured horizontal cabling runs requiring Cat6A performance
• Voice, data and PoE deployments using RJ45 patching

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6A compatible RJ45 patch panel
• Ports: 24 RJ45 ports, front-accessible
• Rack size: 19" width, 1U height
• Dimensions (approx.): 446 mm × 50.5 mm × 190 mm (W × H × D)
• Colour: grey
• Cabling support: shielded and unshielded Cat6A horizontal cabling
• Mounting: standard 19" rack or cabinet

How to use

Mount the patch panel in a standard 19" rack using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts. Terminate each Cat6A cable on the rear termination points according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B) and ensure proper pair alignment and cable shielding where applicable. Route cables neatly with strain relief and cable management accessories to maintain performance and avoid excessive bending. Connect front RJ45 ports to switches, patch cords or other active equipment as required for your network topology.

Recommendations

For reliable Cat6A performance, use compliant Cat6A cables and maintain bend radius recommendations; verify terminations with a cable tester after installation. If installing in high-density or PoE environments, plan for adequate ventilation and consider additional cable management to reduce mechanical stress on ports.
