QNAP HS-M2SSD-01 computerkølesystem del/tilbehør

The QNAP HS-M2SSD-01 is a compact heatsink designed for M.2 SSD modules. Measuring 14 × 14 mm and finished in black, it helps dissipate heat from M.2 drives to support stable operation and prolong component life. The pack contains 8 self-adhesive heatsinks suitable for use in desktop or small-form-factor systems and storage devices.

Advantages

The small 14 × 14 mm profile provides targeted cooling for M.2 SSD modules without obstructing nearby components. The self-adhesive backing enables straightforward installation without additional tools or thermal pads. A black finish offers a neutral appearance that integrates with most system designs. Supplied as an 8-piece set for use on multiple drives or spare replacements.

Suitable for

• Cooling single-sided and double-sided M.2 SSD modules
• Desktop PCs, NAS enclosures, and compact systems with limited airflow
• Upgrading thermal management for high-performance or sustained-write workloads

How to use

Ensure the M.2 SSD surface is clean and free of dust or oils before application. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive backing, align the heatsink over the SSD controller area or the hottest region of the module, and press firmly to secure. Allow a short settling time for the adhesive to bond before reinstalling the drive into the system. For removal, gently peel the heatsink off and clean adhesive residue with isopropyl alcohol if necessary.

Recommendations

Apply the heatsink to the area of the M.2 module that typically runs hottest (controller or NAND region). Avoid covering mounting screws or connector contacts. For systems with active airflow, position the SSD to receive airflow across the heatsink for improved dissipation. Replace heatsinks if adhesive weakens or after multiple removals.
