RCA-stik DELOCK Easy 45 model 90861, forgyldt

DELOCK Easy 45 cinch (RCA) connector model 90861 is a gold-plated audio/video connector designed for reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The connector features a standard RCA form factor with enhanced contact surfaces to improve conductivity and reduce signal loss. It is intended for connecting audio and composite video equipment in home AV setups, repairs, and custom cable assemblies where a stable, low-resistance RCA connection is required.

Advantages

The gold-plated contact surfaces provide improved conductivity and are resistant to oxidation, ensuring long-term signal stability. The mechanical design enables secure mating and firm retention in RCA sockets, reducing chances of accidental disconnection. The connector's dimensions follow standard RCA conventions for broad compatibility with consumer audio and video devices. Materials and plating are chosen to balance durability and signal performance in typical home and workshop environments.

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket and separating the centre conductor from the shield according to the connector's assembly requirements. Insert the conductors into the appropriate contact points and secure them according to the connector's fastening method (crimping, soldering or screw terminal as applicable). After assembly, check that the centre pin is aligned and that the outer shell mates firmly with the RCA socket. Test the connection with an audio or video source to verify signal continuity and proper function.

Recommendations

For reliable results, use appropriate tools for stripping and soldering or crimping, and avoid over-tightening any fastening parts. Keep contact surfaces clean and avoid exposing the connector to corrosive environments. For long cable runs or critical installations, verify shielding continuity and consider using high-quality cable to minimize interference.
