RCA-stik ShiverPeaks BS52001-S

The ShiverPeaks BS52001-S RCA wire connector is a single-piece female RCA connector designed for reliable audio signal connections. Constructed from stainless steel, the connector provides mechanical strength and corrosion resistance for long-term use in audio and video cable assemblies. Its design focuses on secure contact and stable signal transmission suitable for both home and professional installations.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction delivers increased durability and resistance to wear and oxidation while maintaining a compact form factor that fits standard RCA cable assemblies. A female connector design ensures compatibility with common male RCA plugs and facilitates easy mating and disconnection. The single-piece build reduces potential points of failure and contributes to consistent electrical contact for clear audio transmission.

Suitable for

• Connecting audio components such as amplifiers, receivers and CD players
• Linking video sources and displays that use RCA interfaces
• Custom cable assemblies and replacement of worn RCA female connectors
• Home theatre, studio, and multimedia setups requiring durable connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type: Female RCA (phono) connector
• Material: Stainless steel housing for corrosion resistance
• Design: Single-piece construction for mechanical stability
• Compatibility: Standard RCA male plugs and cables
• Colour: Stainless steel finish

How to use

Strip and prepare the cable according to the cable type and conductor dimensions appropriate for RCA termination. Insert the prepared cable conductors into the connector following the manufacturer's mechanical fit method for this model, then secure the connection by soldering or using the connector's intended fixation method if applicable. After assembly, test the mating with a standard RCA male plug to confirm a solid mechanical fit and clear signal transmission. Ensure connections are made with equipment powered off to avoid short circuits or equipment damage.

Recommendations

For best results, use with quality shielded coaxial audio cable and avoid excessive mechanical strain on the connector and cable joint. Regularly inspect connectors for signs of wear or corrosion and replace if contact becomes intermittent.
