RCA-trådforbindelse ShiverPeaks BS52090-Y

The ShiverPeaks BS52090-Y wire connector is an RCA male connector finished in stainless steel. Designed for audio and video cabling, this single-unit connector provides a metal housing that supports a secure physical connection and offers corrosion resistance associated with stainless steel surfaces. The compact design and standard RCA male geometry make it compatible with a wide range of consumer and professional devices that use RCA-type inputs and outputs.

Advantages

This stainless steel RCA connector delivers a durable mechanical construction that helps maintain contact integrity over repeated insertions. Its metal housing improves shielding against mechanical wear and helps reduce the risk of oxidation compared with non-metallic alternatives. Supplied individually, it is suitable for targeted repairs, replacements or custom cable assemblies where single connectors are needed.

Suitable for

• Repairing or replacing damaged RCA plugs on audio and video cables
• Custom assembly of RCA cables for home audio systems, AV receivers and monitors
• Professional installations where a metal-bodied RCA male connector is preferred
• Prototyping and DIY electronics projects requiring a standard RCA male termination

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA male
• Housing material: stainless steel finish
• Quantity: single unit
• Intended use: audio and video signal connections
• Compatibility: standard RCA sockets and cables

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the outer jacket and separating the center conductor from the shield according to the connector's assembly requirements. Slide any required ferrules or housings onto the cable, insert the center conductor into the connector pin and secure the shield to the connector body as specified for the chosen termination method (solder, crimp or screw, depending on the connector's internal design). After assembly, test the connection with your audio or video source and sink to confirm signal continuity and correct polarity.

Recommendations

Use appropriate tools for cable preparation and connector assembly to avoid damage to the center conductor or insulation. For best long-term performance, ensure the connector is fully seated and avoid excessive bending stress at the cable exit point. When used outdoors or in humid environments, consider additional sealing or protective measures to limit exposure to moisture despite the stainless steel finish.
