RGB-splitter 2-vejs Inter-Tech 88885465

The Inter-Tech RGB Splitter 2-way Inter-Tech 88885465 is a compact cable adapter that duplicates a single S-Video (4-pin) signal into two identical S-Video outputs. With a cable length of 0.48 m and a lightweight, black design, the splitter provides a simple passive solution for sending the same composite video signal to two displays or recording devices without active electronics.

Advantages

This 2-way RGB splitter is small and lightweight, making it easy to route and position in tight spaces. The S-Video (4-pin) connectors preserve the chrominance and luminance separation typical of S-Video connections, helping to maintain video quality during passive distribution. Its straightforward Y-shaped cable design requires no power and is plug-and-play, reducing setup time when connecting multiple devices.

Suitable for

• Duplicating a single S-Video source to two displays
• Connecting one video player to a display and a recording device simultaneously
• Testing or demonstrating video output on multiple monitors
• Temporary setups in AV demonstrations or presentations

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.48 m
• Connectors: 1 × S-Video (4-pin) input to 2 × S-Video (4-pin) outputs
• Weight: 0.02 kg
• Colour: Black
• Passive splitter (no external power required)

How to use

Connect the single S-Video (4-pin) end to the video source output and plug the two S-Video (4-pin) ends into the receiving devices. Ensure connectors are fully inserted to avoid intermittent contact. Because this is a passive splitter, it simply mirrors the source signal to both outputs; do not expect independent control or signal amplification. If signal degradation appears on longer cable runs or with high-resolution equipment, consider using active distribution amplifiers instead.

Recommendations

Use the splitter for short cable runs and compatible S-Video equipment. Avoid bending the cable sharply and keep connections free of dust and debris. For permanent installations or where signal integrity is critical, prefer an active video distribution solution designed for impedance matching and amplification.
