Rørskærer Rothenberger 70030

The Rothenberger 70030 pipe cutting machine is a compact, lightweight tool made in Spain for precise cutting of pipes and tubes. Weighing 800 g and equipped with an integrated ratchet telescopic guide, it is designed to cut copper, brass, aluminium, thin-walled steel and sound-insulated pipes with diameters from 6 to 67 mm, delivering clean, controlled cuts suitable for installation and maintenance work.

Advantages

The integrated ratchet telescopic guide ensures quick, repeatable positioning and stable cutting along the pipe. The tool’s lightweight construction and ergonomic shape reduce operator fatigue and improve handling. It provides clean, burr-minimised cuts across a range of materials — copper, brass, aluminium and thin-walled steel — and is suitable for insulated pipe sections. Manufactured by Rothenberger in Spain, the model 70030 is built for consistent performance in professional and DIY environments.

Suitable for

• Cutting copper and brass pipes (Ø 6–67 mm)
• Cutting aluminium and thin-walled steel tubes
• Cutting sound-insulated or jacketed pipes
• Plumbing installation and maintenance tasks

How to use

Position the pipe inside the telescopic guide and adjust the ratchet mechanism to secure the required cutting location. Rotate the cutter around the pipe while maintaining steady pressure to score and cut through the wall evenly. For best results, use several gradual rotations rather than forcing the cutter in a single pass. After cutting, deburr the pipe end if necessary before assembly or fitting.

Recommendations

Use the Rothenberger 70030 on pipes within the specified diameter range (6–67 mm) and on the listed materials. Maintain the cutting wheel sharpness and inspect the ratchet guide for wear before use. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and deburr cut edges to ensure safe and reliable connections.
