Rørskruenøgle HAZET 279-12

The HAZET 279-12 adjustable spanner is a medium‑size hand tool designed for turning nuts and bolts with varying head sizes. With a total length of 308 mm and an adjustable jaw capable of opening to 34 mm, this spanner offers a balance between reach and control. Its weight and black finish contribute to handling stability and resistance to surface wear, making it suitable for workshop and field tasks where a reliable, single adjustable wrench is needed.

Advantages

This adjustable spanner provides a precise adjustable jaw that accommodates a range of fastener sizes, reducing the need to carry multiple fixed wrenches. The tool's 308 mm length gives good leverage for loosening and tightening operations while remaining compact enough for confined spaces. The black finish improves surface durability against corrosion and scratches, and the tool's mass contributes to a stable grip during use.

Suitable for

• General mechanical repairs and maintenance
• Plumbing and pipe fittings where variable jaw width is required
• Automotive and bicycle repair tasks involving mixed fastener sizes
• Workshop tasks and on-site service where a versatile wrench is preferred

Key specifications

• Overall length: 308 mm
• Maximum jaw opening (jaw width): 34 mm
• Weight: 691 g
• Finish: black surface treatment for increased wear resistance
• Tool type: adjustable spanner with movable jaw and worm screw adjustment

How to use

Select the HAZET 279-12 adjustable spanner and adjust the movable jaw by turning the worm screw until the jaw opening corresponds to the fastener size. Place the fixed jaw against one side of the nut or bolt head and the movable jaw against the opposite side, ensuring a snug fit before applying force. Apply steady, controlled pressure in the required direction to loosen or tighten the fastener. After use, wipe the spanner clean and store it in a dry place to preserve the finish and prevent contamination.

Recommendations

For extended service life and safe operation, avoid using the spanner on fasteners that are larger than the maximum jaw opening, and do not use the tool as a hammer or pry bar. Periodically inspect the worm screw and jaws for wear, and apply a light lubricant to the adjustment mechanism if movement becomes stiff. Use appropriate personal protective equipment when working in environments with oil, dirt, or moving machinery.
