Rundsav DeWALT DCS512P2-QW

The DeWALT DCS512P2-QW is a compact cordless circular saw designed for portable cutting tasks. Equipped with a 14 cm blade and powered by an 18V Lithium‑Ion battery, this saw delivers a maximum no‑load speed of 3600 RPM and a cutting depth of 4.7 cm at 90º. With a lightweight construction of approximately 2.2 kg and overall dimensions of 292 mm (width) and 155 mm (height), the tool is intended for users who need a balance of power, mobility and ease of handling on site or in a workshop.

Advantages

The saw's cordless design removes the restriction of mains power while the 18V battery provides consistent cutting performance. Its small blade diameter and compact body enable agile handling and make the tool suitable for confined spaces. The combination of a 3600 RPM motor speed and a 4.7 cm cutting depth at 90º enables straightforward crosscuts and rip cuts in standard construction materials. Low weight and ergonomic dimensions reduce operator fatigue during extended use.

Suitable for

• Cutting softwood and hardwood boards
• Trimming sheet materials such as plywood and MDF
• On‑site framing and carpentry tasks where portability is required
• DIY renovation and finishing work

• No‑load speed: up to 3600 RPM
• Maximum cutting depth at 90º: 4.7 cm
• Power source: 18V Lithium‑Ion battery

How to use

Charge the compatible 18V Lithium‑Ion battery fully before use and install it according to the tool's battery mounting instructions. Fit a blade appropriate for the material you intend to cut, ensuring the blade is tightened to the correct torque and the saw's guard and safety features are functioning. Mark the cutting line on the workpiece, position the saw so the blade aligns with the mark, and start the tool while keeping a steady, controlled feed rate. Maintain firm two‑handed control where applicable and allow the blade to reach full speed before engaging the cut. After the cut, release the trigger and wait for the blade to stop before setting the tool down or changing accessories.

Recommendations

Use a blade designed for the specific material to improve cut quality and reduce wear. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye and hearing protection, and ensure workpieces are securely clamped. For longer battery life, avoid fully depleting the battery during intermittent work and store batteries in a cool, dry place.
