Satellitantenne TechniSat SATMAN 850 Plus

The TechniSat SATMAN 850 Plus satellite antenna is a compact, high-performance parabolic reflector designed for reliable reception of satellite television and data signals. Constructed from durable aluminum with a grey finish, the antenna balances lightweight design and structural strength. With a maximum gain of 38.2 dBi, the SATMAN 850 Plus provides enhanced signal pickup for installations where stable reception is required.

Advantages

The aluminium construction of the SATMAN 850 Plus offers corrosion resistance and long service life while keeping the overall weight low at 8.4 kg. The antenna’s 38.2 dBi maximum gain improves signal strength at the L-band frequencies commonly used for satellite TV, reducing the likelihood of picture freeze or signal loss. Its streamlined depth of 1.6 mm supports precise reflector geometry for consistent performance, and the neutral grey finish suits residential and commercial mounting locations.

Suitable for

• Residential satellite TV reception on single and multi-receiver installations
• Small commercial venues requiring reliable satellite signal pickup
• Use in fixed outdoor mounting on roofs, facades, or masts
• Replacement or upgrade of older satellite dishes where higher gain is needed

Key specifications

• Maximum gain: 38.2 dBi
• Material: aluminium
• Weight: 8.4 kg
• Reflector depth/thickness: 1.6 mm
• Finish: grey
• Form factor: parabolic reflector dish suitable for outdoor mounting

How to use

Mount the SATMAN 850 Plus on a stable mast or bracket using appropriate hardware and fasteners rated for outdoor use. Position and aim the dish toward the intended satellite orbital position using a satellite finder or by following published azimuth and elevation coordinates for your location. Attach an appropriate LNB and use low-loss coaxial cable to connect to the receiver. After initial alignment, secure all mounting points and weatherproof cable connections with sealing tape or suitable collars.

Recommendations

For optimal reception, install the antenna clear of large obstructions such as trees or adjacent buildings and verify alignment during a period of stable weather. Use high-quality LNBs and coaxial cable to minimize signal loss. Periodic inspection and tightening of mounting hardware and checking for corrosion will help maintain consistent performance over time.
