Sensorenhed Mobotix Mx-O-M7SA-8N050

The Mobotix Mx-O-M7SA-8N050 sensor unit delivers high-resolution imaging with a 5 mm focal length and a 3840 x 2160 pixel sensor, offering detailed 4K stills and video. Designed with a 95° horizontal viewing angle, the unit provides wide coverage while maintaining compact dimensions and a white finish for unobtrusive installation. Its universal mounting options allow integration into existing surveillance systems or new installations where high image clarity and a broad field of view are required.

Advantages

The sensor unit combines a short 5 mm focal length and a high pixel count to produce sharp images across the entire frame, minimizing distortion at the edges. A 95° horizontal viewing angle increases scene coverage without the need for multiple cameras. The neutral white housing supports discreet placement in indoor and outdoor environments and is compatible with MOBOTIX modular systems for flexible configuration and maintenance.

Suitable for

• General surveillance in retail and public spaces
• Perimeter monitoring and entrance coverage
• Detailed monitoring in offices, corridors and lobbies
• Integration into modular camera systems for scalable setups

How to use

Mount the sensor unit according to the site’s mounting option and align it to cover the required scene using its 95° horizontal field of view. Connect the unit to the compatible MOBOTIX base module or supported camera body following the manufacturer’s installation guidelines. Configure image settings such as resolution and exposure in the system software to match lighting conditions and surveillance needs. Regularly verify alignment and image quality after initial setup and after any physical changes to the installation site.

Recommendations

For optimal results position the unit to minimize backlight and extreme reflections; use system software to adjust exposure and noise reduction. Consider combining with additional MOBOTIX modules or lenses if narrower or wider coverage is required for specific monitoring tasks.
