Sensorenhed Mobotix Mx-O-M7SA-8D050

The Mobotix Mx-O-M7SA-8D050 sensor unit is a universal imaging module in a white finish designed for integration into compatible MOBOTIX camera systems. It provides high-resolution capture at 3840 x 2160 pixels with a fixed focal length of 5 mm and a wide horizontal field of view of 95°, enabling detailed scene coverage and flexible installation options for indoor and sheltered outdoor environments.

Advantages

The sensor unit delivers Ultra HD resolution for clear image detail and reliable identification over larger areas. Its 5 mm focal length combined with a 95° horizontal viewing angle offers a balance between wide coverage and subject detail. The white housing supports discreet or professional installations and is compatible with modular MOBOTIX systems for straightforward replacement or upgrade. The unit’s optical and sensor specifications are optimised for use in mixed lighting conditions and for applications that require high spatial resolution.

Suitable for

• Surveillance in retail and commercial spaces where high detail is required
• Indoor monitoring of corridors, lobbies, and production lines
• Integrations in modular camera systems for upgrades or replacements
• Sites requiring wide horizontal coverage with good detail for analytics

Key specifications

• Sensor resolution: 3840 x 2160 pixels (Ultra HD)
• Focal length: 5 mm
• Horizontal viewing angle: 95°
• Housing colour: white
• Design: universal sensor module for modular camera systems

How to use

Install the sensor unit into a compatible MOBOTIX camera housing or modular mount following the manufacturer’s mechanical and electrical connection guidelines. Position the unit to achieve the desired field of view and secure it to prevent movement. Configure the connected camera system software to recognise the module, set resolution and exposure parameters, and adjust image settings for the installation environment. Verify focus and framing on-site and perform test recordings to confirm coverage and image quality.

Recommendations

Use the unit in environments protected from direct weather exposure unless the chosen housing specifies outdoor protection. For best image quality, combine the sensor unit with compatible optics and camera firmware updates provided by MOBOTIX and calibrate settings for lighting conditions at the installation site.
