Sideskærer Knipex 70 15 110

The Knipex 70 15 110 diagonal pliers are compact precision cutters designed for all-round use. Made from forged, oil-hardened vanadium electric steel (chromium-vanadium), they offer a long service life and reliable performance. The narrow head style and 110 mm overall length make these pliers suitable for working in confined areas while the plastic handles provide comfortable grip for precision tasks.

Advantages

These diagonal pliers feature induction-hardened cutting edges with a hardness of approximately 62 HRC, providing clean cuts on thin copper wires as well as on soft and hard wire. Precision-cutting edges and high-quality workmanship ensure durability and consistent cutting performance. The lightweight construction (approx. 98 g) aids in fine, controlled work.

Suitable for

• Cutting thin copper wires
• Cutting soft and hard wires in electrical and electronic work
• Precision cutting tasks in confined or hard-to-reach areas
• General workshop and maintenance cutting applications

How to use

Position the narrow head of the diagonal pliers at the desired cutting point, close to the insulation when cutting insulated wire, and apply steady pressure to the handles until the material is completely severed. For the cleanest cut on thin copper conductors, place the wire as close to the cutting edge tips as possible. Do not use the pliers for cutting hardened steel beyond their rated capacity or for prying, as this may damage the cutting edges.

Recommendations

Maintain the cutting edges by keeping them clean and dry. Avoid cutting materials that are harder than the tool’s specification. Regularly inspect the pliers for wear and replace if cutting performance decreases significantly. Store in a dry place to prevent corrosion.
