Slibeskive KWB 491408 5 stk.

Sanding disc KWB 491408 5 pcs are fibreglass-mesh abrasive discs bonded with synthetic resin and silicon carbide grit, featuring a velour backing. The mesh construction offers up to four times the lifetime compared to conventional aluminium-oxide abrasive paper, and can be cleaned by shaking or rinsing under running water. These discs are intended for smoothing fillers and very rough areas, and for removal of paint, synthetic paint, acrylic paint and rust, delivering a homogeneous finished surface and universal compatibility with most brands and extraction-equipped sanders.

Advantages

The fibreglass mesh and silicon carbide grit provide durable, fast-cutting performance and increased service life. The velour reverse ensures secure attachment to compatible backing pads. The open mesh allows dust extraction and easy cleaning by shaking or rinsing, maintaining cutting efficiency over time. Compatible with many sander brands and suitable for use with extraction systems.

How to use

Attach the velour-backed disc to a compatible backing pad on your sander, ensuring correct alignment and secure fit. Start with an appropriate grit for the task and work with steady, even strokes; avoid excessive pressure to prolong disc life. For heavy material removal use moderate speed and overlap passes. After use, shake out dust or rinse the disc under running water and allow it to dry fully before reattaching.

Recommendations

Check that the disc diameter and attachment system match your sander (observe any manufacturer guidance). Use personal protective equipment such as eye protection and a dust mask, especially when removing paint or rust. For best results with dust-prone work, connect the sander to an extraction system.
