Spændingstester-skruetrækker Bahco 8045LVDE

The Bahco 8045LVDE Voltage Tester Screwdriver is a compact insulated tool for basic live-voltage detection and simple continuity checks in electrical installations. With a slim profile and lightweight construction it is intended for quick testing tasks where a clear indication of presence of voltage is required. The tool combines a precision tip for access to terminal points and an insulated handle designed to reduce exposure to live conductors while working on household and light commercial electrical systems.

Advantages

The insulated design provides a protective barrier between the user and live parts, and the slim length allows access into tight terminal spaces. Its low weight and compact depth make it convenient to carry and manipulate for short tests. The clear voltage indication and straightforward construction make the tester suitable for routine verification of live circuits and simple fault finding without the complexity of multifunction instruments.

Suitable for

• Quick confirmation of presence or absence of AC mains voltage
• Accessing tight screw terminals and small junctions
• Basic continuity checks with visual indication
• Use by electricians, maintenance technicians, and DIY users for simple on-site tests

Key specifications

• Overall length: 13.2 cm
• Weight: 28 g
• Insulated handle for electrical safety
• Slim shaft and precision tip for terminal access
• Designed for live-voltage detection and basic continuity verification

How to use

Hold the insulated handle and place the metal tip on the conductor or terminal to be tested while maintaining proper contact. Follow standard safe working procedures: ensure hands and tools are dry, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and test known live and dead points to confirm the tester’s operation before and after use. Interpret the tester’s indication according to the manufacturer’s markings and only perform tests within the tool’s intended applications.

Recommendations

Use the voltage tester screwdriver for quick checks and routine verification only; do not rely on it for detailed diagnostics or measurements requiring calibrated instruments. Regularly inspect the insulation for damage and replace the tool if any cracks or wear are detected. When working on potentially hazardous installations follow applicable safety standards and disconnect power where appropriate before performing maintenance.
