Stanley STHT0-77365 infrarødt termometer

Infrared thermometer Stanley STHT0-77365 is a handheld non-contact thermometer intended for quick temperature checks. It includes a laser pointer for aiming and a high-contrast backlit display for readability in varied lighting. The device is suitable for measuring surface temperatures within a wide range and is compact for portable use.

Advantages

The instrument provides adjustable emissivity (0.95) to cover thermal radiation emission of most materials and an IP20 rating for basic dust protection. It features thermal leak detection with a reference-temperature colour screen that highlights hotter areas in red and cooler areas in blue. The unit includes a wrist strap for secure handling, an 8:1 distance-to-spot ratio that permits measuring a 32 cm diameter area from 25 m, and an accuracy of 2% or ±2°C for precise readings. A high-contrast backlit display ensures visibility in different light conditions. The thermometer supports a broad temperature range, enabling use across many tasks.

Suitable for

• HVAC inspections and maintenance
• Automotive diagnostics and service
• Electrical equipment temperature checks
• Detecting heat loss or hotspots in buildings

Key specifications

• Brand: STANLEY
• Model: STHT0-77365
• Emissivity: 0.95 (covers most materials)
• IP rating: IP20
• Distance-to-spot ratio: 8:1
• Accuracy: 2% or ±2°C
• Display: High-contrast backlit

How to use

Aim the infrared thermometer at the target surface using the laser pointer, keeping the correct distance to match the 8:1 spot ratio for an accurate measurement. Press the measurement trigger and read the temperature on the backlit display. Use the thermal leak detection mode with a reference temperature to visualise hotter (red) and cooler (blue) areas. Secure the wrist strap during use to prevent drops.

Recommendations

For best results, ensure the target surface is free of steam, frost or debris and maintain the recommended distance to avoid measuring surrounding areas. Do not use the device on reflective or transparent surfaces without applying a suitable emissivity patch or coating.
