Stikdåse RJ-45 METZ CONNECT 1309310601-E sort

The Socket outlet RJ-45 METZ CONNECT 1309310601-E Black is a termination unit for mounting in service outlets intended for underfloor distribution systems. It is compatible with underfloor service outlets from OBO Bettermann (Ackermann) and selected :hager (Electraplan Solutions) types. The outlet uses the GB3 design with an E-DAT module and is supplied with a module frame, caps and dummy covers. The device casing is black with pearl white covers and includes a label window for identification labels; label sheets are available as an accessory.

Advantages

Component-tested for Cat.6A to relevant international standards and certified to GHMT, this RJ-45 socket supports links up to 500 MHz and is suitable for 10 GBit Ethernet (IEEE 802.3an), Remote Powering (PoE, PoE+ and UPoE) and HDBaseT. It offers easy installation with BTR 8-fold insulation displacement connectors (IDC) for 2- to 4-pair solid conductors AWG 26/1–22/1 and stranded conductors with 7 copper wires AWG 26/7–22/7. Conductor assignment can be marked for T568A or T568B and the module plug is oriented 45° upwards. Integrated dust protection covers (including colored options) help keep contacts clean.

Suitable for

• Underfloor service outlet installations in commercial and residential buildings
• High-speed data networks requiring Category 6A performance
• Applications using 10 GBit Ethernet, PoE/PoE+/UPoE and HDBaseT

How to use

Mount the termination unit into a compatible underfloor service outlet from OBO Bettermann (Ackermann) or a supported :hager Electraplan Solutions type. Terminate the data pairs using the BTR 8-fold insulation displacement connector: insert 2 to 4 pairs of solid or stranded conductors within the supported AWG ranges and press the IDC to make a reliable contact. Select and mark the conductor assignment according to T568A or T568B. Snap the module into the supplied frame, fit the caps or dummy covers as needed and close the label window with an identification label.

Recommendations

For best performance, use Category 6A cables and verify installation with appropriate test equipment. Follow local installation codes and manufacturer guidance for power-over-Ethernet and 10 GBit Ethernet deployments. Store and install with dust protection covers in place until connections are made.
