Stikdåse RJ-45 Telegärtner J00020A0502

The Telegärtner J00020A0502 socket outlet is a fully shielded RJ-45 outlet designed for Category 6A installations and professional network cabling. It provides 360° shielding contact and strain relief via separate captive screw clamps for the outer cable jacket and shielding, supports wiring in 8x45° steps from all directions and allows either horizontal or vertical cable entry. The compact design with low installation depth is suitable for standard wall and subfloor mounting boxes and is compatible with a range of cover plates from different switching programs.

Advantages

Supports Cat.6A transmission performance according to ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50173-1, ensuring high-speed data transfer. Fully shielded design with option for plug-in ground connection at all four corners (DIN 46342-1, 6.3 mm) for improved EMC performance. Flexible cable entry and captive screw clamps simplify installation and reduce the need for multiple stock variants. Additional features such as a retrofittable transparent label field, protection flaps, detachable vertical fixing rail and interchangeable overbend protection for 6- and 8-pin plugs increase installation versatility and long-term usability.

Suitable for

• Professional Cat.6A network installations in offices and data rooms
• Shielded (STP/FTP) cabling systems requiring improved EMC protection
• Wall and subfloor (floor tank) installations with limited installation depth
• Environments requiring modular cover plate compatibility

How to use

Strip the cable according to the manufacturer’s instructions, place the outer jacket and shielding into the respective captive screw clamps and secure for 360° shielding contact. Wire the conductors following the chosen wiring direction; the outlet can be accessed and wired in 8x45° increments to suit cable routing. Mount the unit in the wall or subfloor box using the four-hole bearer ring and, if required, attach the detachable vertical fixing rail for subfloor installations. Fit the cover plate from the desired switching program and, if needed, add the transparent label field to the cover. Connect the plug-in ground connection where local earthing practices require it.

Recommendations

For optimal transmission and EMC performance, use shielded Cat.6A (STP/FTP) cables, ensure the shielding is correctly clamped to the captive screw clamps, and connect the plug-in ground at the nearest suitable earthing point following local installation standards.
