Strømfordelingsenhed Bachmann 19 inch IT Basic 800.1259

The Bachmann 19" IT Basic 800.1259 is a 1U rack-mounted power distribution unit designed to deliver reliable AC power to multiple IT devices in server racks and network cabinets. It provides eight Type J outlets arranged to fit standard 19-inch racks and comes with a two-meter power cable to simplify placement within cabinets. The unit focuses on compact, space-saving power distribution for professional IT environments.

Advantages

The PDU occupies a single rack unit while offering eight grounded Type J outlets, enabling centralized power distribution without consuming excessive rack space. Its 2 m power cable allows flexible routing to nearby power sources. Built for IT use, the device is designed for easy installation in standard 19" cabinets and offers consistent AC output for connected equipment.

Suitable for

• Server racks in small and medium data centers
• Network cabinets and telecommunication enclosures
• Edge computing and remote IT closets
• Powering multiple rack-mounted switches, routers, and servers

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U, 19" rack-mountable
• Number of outlets: 8 AC outlets (Type J)
• Cable length: 2 meters
• Outlet configuration: inline strip suitable for horizontal mounting
• Intended use: indoor, IT rack environments

How to use

Mount the PDU into a standard 19" rack occupying one rack unit. Route the integrated 2 m power cable to a suitable mains supply and connect using the appropriate plug and circuit rated for the rack's power requirements. Plug IT equipment into the Type J outlets, ensuring that total connected load remains within the rack circuit capacity. Position cables to avoid strain on outlet connections and to allow adequate airflow within the rack.

Recommendations

Check rack power budgets and distribution before connecting equipment, and ensure proper grounding and circuit protection are in place. For installations in environments with specific clearance or cooling requirements, verify that the single‑unit PDU layout does not obstruct airflow or cable management paths.
