The Acer KP.0450H.014 power adapter provides stable 19V DC output and 2.37A current for compatible Acer laptops. Its compact and lightweight housing is intended for daily use and travel, offering efficient power delivery to keep devices charged during work or transport. The adapter includes a standard barrel connector and a strain-relieved cable for basic mechanical durability.

Advantages

This adapter delivers a consistent 19V/2.37A power supply that meets the typical requirements of many Acer notebook models. The compact form factor and low weight make it convenient to carry in a laptop bag. Built-in protection circuits help prevent overcurrent and short-circuit conditions under normal operating circumstances. The simple design enables easy replacement of original adapters or addition as a spare unit for travel.

Suitable for

• Charging Acer laptops that require 19V and around 2.37A power input
• Use as a replacement adapter for home or office
• Portable power solution for travel or commuting
• Keeping a second adapter at a fixed location (workstation, secondary bag)

Key specifications

• Output voltage: 19 V DC
• Output current: 2.37 A
• Power output: approximately 45 W
• Connector type: barrel-style DC plug (standard for many Acer models)
• Housing: compact, lightweight external adapter
• Protection features: built-in overcurrent and short-circuit protection circuitry

How to use

Connect the adapter's AC plug to a mains outlet and insert the DC barrel connector into the laptop's power jack rated for 19V input. Ensure the connection is fully seated and the power indicator on the laptop (if present) confirms charging. Avoid placing the adapter on soft surfaces while in use to maintain ventilation. When unplugging, grasp the connector rather than pulling on the cable to reduce strain.

Recommendations

Use this adapter with laptops that specify 19V and a compatible current rating; verify the connector fits your device before use. Operate the adapter in a dry, well-ventilated environment and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If the adapter becomes unusually hot, emits noise, or shows visible damage, discontinue use and replace it.
