Strømkabel Bachmann 244.876, 5 m, 250 V, 16 A, orange

The Bachmann power cable 244.876 is a 5 m mains cable rated for 250 V and 16 A with bright orange insulation. It is supplied with one moulded contour plug on one end and the other end stripped to 30 mm with fitted end sleeves, enabling straightforward connection to equipment or terminal blocks. The cable is intended for supplying power to devices that require standard mains voltage and currents up to 16 A and is colour-coded for high visibility in workshops, construction sites, and temporary installations.

Advantages

The orange insulation improves visibility for safety and quick identification of power leads. The moulded contour plug provides a secure, strain-resistant connection ready for immediate use. The 30 mm stripped end with end sleeves simplifies wiring tasks and ensures reliable contact when connected to terminals or devices. The 5 m length offers flexibility in positioning equipment while keeping a single-cable feed to the power source.

Suitable for

• Workshop and industrial equipment requiring up to 16 A
• Temporary power connections on sites and events
• Extension of mains feeds where high-visibility cabling is desired
• Connection to devices with terminal blocks or cable clamps

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Rated voltage: 250 V
• Rated current: 16 A
• Insulation colour: orange
• One end: moulded contour plug
• Other end: 30 mm stripped conductor with end sleeves

How to use

Connect the moulded contour plug to a compatible mains socket and secure the stripped end conductors to the device terminal block or clamp, ensuring the end sleeves are fully inserted and that terminals are tightened to the manufacturer’s torque recommendations. Verify that the supply voltage and current rating of the connected equipment do not exceed 250 V and 16 A respectively. Inspect the cable and connectors for damage before each use and avoid routing the cable across sharp edges or hot surfaces.

Izmantošanas ieteikumi

For safe operation, use the cable in dry conditions or according to the connected equipment’s environmental ratings. Replace the cable if insulation or conductors are damaged. When used in permanent or fixed installations consult applicable wiring regulations and, if necessary, a qualified electrician.
