Strømkabel Bachmann 305.176, 5 m, sort

Bachmann 305.176 power cable, 5 m, black is a mains power lead intended to connect compatible electrical equipment to a power source. The cable delivers extended reach with a 5 m length and comes without a secondary detachable connector. One end of the cable has a moulded right-angled plug with a dual earthing contact system, while the opposite end is delivered as a 30 mm stripped conductor fitted with ferrules for direct electrical connection. The cable is black in colour and designed for use in offices, workshops or home environments where a longer fixed mains connection is required.

Advantages

The moulded right-angled plug with dual earthing contact system provides a compact connection that maintains proper grounding. A 30 mm stripped end with ferrules enables reliable, low-resistance termination for fixed installations or equipment wiring. The 5 m length increases placement flexibility without needing extension adapters. The cable's design supports typical mains applications where a secure, direct connection is preferred over removable connectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop equipment and peripherals to a mains outlet with extended reach
• Fixed installations in workshops and office environments where a stripped, ferruled conductor is required
• Replacement of a short or damaged mains lead when a right-angled plug and stripped end are needed

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Colour: Black
• End 1: Moulded right-angled plug with dual earthing contact system
• End 2: 30 mm stripped conductor fitted with ferrules
• Maximum load rating reference: according to conductor cross-section at 70 °C

How to use

Connect the moulded right-angled plug to a compatible mains outlet or power distribution unit. Prepare the mating terminal or equipment input to accept the 30 mm stripped conductors with ferrules and secure them under the appropriate terminal clamps or screw terminals following the equipment manufacturer's wiring instructions. Ensure correct phase, neutral and protective earth connections where applicable and that the conductor cross-section and secure fastening meet the rated load and local electrical codes. Do not use if the cable sheath or ferrules are damaged.

Recommendations

Verify the conductor cross-section and the maximum permissible load for the intended application and maintain the cable within the rated temperature limits (reference: 70 °C). Install the stripped end with ferrules into suitable, inspected terminals and avoid sharp bends near the moulded plug. For fixed or permanent installations, ensure connections are made by a qualified person and that local electrical regulations are followed.
