Strømkabel Bachmann 356.172 sort 0,5 m C13-kobling

The Bachmann 356.172 power cable is a 0.5 m lead with a C13 coupler intended for short-distance connections between electronic devices and IEC C14 outlets. Its compact length and standardized C13 connector provide a straightforward solution for equipment that requires a stable mains connection without excess cable clutter. The black jacket and molded connectors suit server racks, power strips, UPS units, desktop power supplies and other installations where a short, reliable mains lead is preferred.

Advantages

This power cable delivers a standardized C13 connection that fits common IEC sockets, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of equipment. The 0.5 m length reduces cable management issues in confined spaces and limits signal interference related to unnecessary cable length. The molded connector ends and insulated jacket provide mechanical protection for conductor terminations and help maintain a secure, low-resistance connection over repeated insertion cycles.

Suitable for

• Connecting computer power supplies to local UPS or PDU outlets
• Short power runs in server racks and network cabinets
• Desktop computers, monitors and small appliances with C13 sockets
• Replacing worn or missing short mains leads in office equipment

Key specifications

• Connector type: IEC C13 coupler
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Color: black
• Construction: molded connectors with insulated jacket
• Intended use: mains power connection for compatible devices

How to use

Insert the C13 coupler into the matching C14 inlet on the power source or distribution unit until it seats firmly. Ensure the mating equipment is switched off while connecting or disconnecting to avoid arcing. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinch points and heat sources, and secure it with cable ties or management clips if necessary to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Inspect the cable and connectors periodically for visible wear or damage. Replace the lead if the insulation is cut, connectors are cracked, or if electrical faults are suspected. Use the 0.5 m length for short runs only; for longer distances select an appropriately rated longer cable to avoid tension and maintain electrical safety.
