TOMTOM RDL tachografkabel LINK510 (Bulk) – køretøjsdataforbindelseskabel

The TOMTOM RDL Tachograph Cable LINK510 (bulk) is a vehicle data connection cable designed to interface tachograph units with TOMTOM LINK devices for secure transfer of driving and vehicle data. Supplied in bulk packaging, the cable provides a wired link between tachograph output and Webfleet-compatible modules or download units, enabling fleet managers to collect and analyse driver hours and vehicle usage details through telematics systems.

Advantages

The cable delivers a dedicated, wired connection that reduces signal loss and interference compared with wireless alternatives, ensuring consistent data transfer from the tachograph to LINK-series devices. Bulk packaging suits fleet operations and installers who require multiple cables for large vehicle fleets. The cable is engineered to meet vehicle installation requirements and provides compatible electrical and mechanical interfaces for Webfleet integration.

Suitable for

• Connecting digital tachographs to TOMTOM LINK devices in commercial vehicles
• Fleet telematics installations that require direct tachograph data input
• Workshop or fleet service centres performing multiple device integrations

Key specifications

• Cable type: wired vehicle data connection for tachograph to LINK device
• Compatibility: designed for use with TOMTOM LINK series and Webfleet systems
• Packaging: bulk supply for multiple-installation use
• Connector interfaces: standard vehicle tachograph and LINK device mating connectors (mechanical and electrical fit for vehicle installations)

How to use

Install the cable by connecting the tachograph output connector to the corresponding input on the TOMTOM LINK device following vehicle wiring standards. Ensure the vehicle ignition is off during connection, secure the cable routing away from moving parts and heat sources, and tighten any locking mechanisms on connectors to prevent disconnection. After physical installation, power up the vehicle and the LINK device, then verify communication and data transfer in the Webfleet or LINK device interface according to the device setup procedures.

Recommendations

Use certified installers or follow vehicle manufacturer guidelines when routing and securing the cable. Inspect connectors and cable insulation for damage before installation, and replace any damaged components. Store bulk-supplied cables in dry conditions and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or corrosive environments to maintain reliable long-term performance.
