Trådforbindelse RJ-45 ShiverPeaks BS72057-B-10

The ShiverPeaks BS72057-B-10 RJ-45 wire connector is designed for Cat5e and Cat6 twisted-pair cables and supplied in a pack of ten. Its blue and metallic appearance identifies the connector visually while the molded contact sleeve and housing provide consistent alignment for eight conductors. The connector is intended for terminating Ethernet cables to create reliable RJ-45 plugs for network devices and patch panels.

Advantages

The connector offers reliable electrical contact and consistent conductor alignment for Cat5e and Cat6 cable assemblies. Its durable housing and plated contacts reduce the risk of signal loss and mechanical wear under normal installation conditions. Supplied in a multi-pack, it supports small installations and on-site spares without requiring specialized tooling other than standard crimping equipment compatible with RJ-45 plugs.

Suitable for

• Terminating Cat5e cable runs for home and small office Ethernet
• Creating Cat6 patch cords and short network leads
• Replacing worn or damaged RJ-45 plugs on existing cables
• On-site cabling and maintenance where quick, repeatable terminations are needed

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Cat5e and Cat6 UTP/STP twisted-pair cables
• Contact layout: 8P8C (standard RJ-45)
• Material: molded plastic housing with plated metal contacts
• Color: blue and metallic finish
• Pack quantity: 10 pieces

How to use

Strip the cable jacket to expose the twisted pairs, untwist and arrange the conductors according to the required wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Insert the conductors fully into the connector so each wire seats into its respective contact channel, then use a compatible RJ-45 crimping tool to secure the plug and make the electrical connection. After crimping, verify continuity and correct pair wiring with a cable tester before placing the cable into service.

Recommendations

For consistent results, use a crimping tool rated for RJ-45 8P8C connectors and avoid excessive stripping that could leave too little conductor length inside the plug. Test each terminated cable with a network cable tester to confirm correct pair sequencing and signal continuity. Store connectors in a dry environment to prevent contamination or corrosion of the contacts.
