Trådforbinder RJ45 METZ CONNECT 130906-03-E grå

The METZ CONNECT 130906-03-E Grey RJ45 wire connector is designed for reliable copper network terminations in structured cabling installations. Made from robust materials and finished in a neutral grey color, this connector provides stable electrical contact and mechanical resilience for Ethernet patching and permanent link connections. It is suitable for professional and residential network setups where consistent data transmission and connection integrity are required.

Advantages

This RJ45 wire connector offers precise contact alignment and a durable housing that resists everyday mechanical stress. The connector is manufactured to provide consistent impedance and low contact resistance, reducing packet loss and signal degradation across typical twisted-pair Ethernet cabling. Its compact form factor and standard modular footprint allow straightforward installation in patch panels, keystone jacks, or inline couplers.

Suitable for

• Office and home Ethernet patching
• Structured cabling terminations and repairs
• Network equipment interconnections (patch panels, switches)
• Cat5e/Cat6 copper twisted-pair installations where RJ45 termination is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: 8P8C (RJ45) modular connector compatible with standard Ethernet cables
• Color: grey
• Material: durable insulating housing with metal contact elements for reliable conductivity
• Application: copper twisted-pair network cabling for data transmission
• Form factor: standard modular footprint for keystone, patch panel, and inline use

How to use

Prepare the twisted-pair cable by stripping the outer jacket to expose the individual conductors and arrange the wires according to the chosen wiring standard (T568A or T568B). Insert the wires fully into the connector so each conductor meets its respective contact. Use an appropriate crimping or termination tool compatible with RJ45 modular connectors to secure the contact and housing. After termination, verify continuity and wiring order with a cable tester to ensure correct electrical contacts and signal integrity before connecting to network equipment.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the connector with cables rated for the intended network speed (Cat5e/Cat6) and avoid excessive bending near the termination point. Perform a cable test after termination and periodically inspect high-traffic or critical links for wear. Follow local cabling standards and grounding practices when installing multiple connectors in structured cabling systems.
