Universal Lock Slot-adapter Compulocks BLD01KL sølv

The Blade Universal Lock Slot Adapter is a slim silver bracket that adds a retractable locking slot to laptops, Ultrabooks, tablets and netbooks that lack a built-in security slot. The industrial adhesive-mounted blade provides a secure anchor for a keyed cable lock while also raising the device slightly to improve airflow and ventilation.

Advantages

The adapter installs with a strong industrial adhesive and presents a low-profile, minimalist appearance that blends with the device. Its retractable blade integrates a standard lock slot, allowing use with a variety of keyed cable locks. The construction is durable and rated to withstand significant holding force, while the thin profile preserves device ergonomics and helps maintain operating temperature through improved ventilation.

Suitable for

• Laptops and Ultrabooks without a built-in lock slot
• Tablets and large-format tablets (for example iPad Pro models)
• Netbooks and portable devices requiring external security
• Retail, education, offices and public display environments

Key specifications

• Colour: Silver
• Material: adhesive-mounted metal bracket with retractable blade
• Dimensions: width 41 mm × depth 174 mm × thickness 8 mm
• Includes: keyed cable lock
• Designed to add a standard locking slot to devices without one
• Rated holding capacity: up to 150 lbs (approx. 68 kg)

How to use

Clean the device surface where the adapter will be attached and allow it to dry. Remove the protective liner from the industrial adhesive and press the adapter firmly onto the device in the chosen location. Extend the retractable blade to reveal the lock slot, attach the keyed cable lock through the slot and secure the cable to an immovable anchor. Allow the adhesive to set before applying full tension to the lock.

Recommendations

Place the adapter on a flat, non-vented area of the chassis that does not obstruct ports or buttons. For maximum adhesion, apply at room temperature and avoid repositioning after application. Regularly inspect the adhesive bond and locking cable for wear; use the keyed cable lock supplied or a compatible industry-standard cable lock.
