USB-kabel DeLOCK 82681 1m USB A Mini-USB B sort

This USB 2.0 cable by DeLOCK features a straight USB A connector and an angled Mini-USB B connector, suitable for connecting devices such as HDD enclosures, digital cameras, mobile phones and navigation systems. The angled Mini-USB B plug offers a secure fit in recessed or hard-to-reach ports, while the cable construction — with a thicker power conductor and twisted data pairs — supports a reliable power and data connection at USB 2.0 speeds up to 0.48 Gbit/s. The cable is 1 m long, terminated with male connectors on both ends, and comes in black.

Advantages

The angled Mini-USB B connector provides stable retention in tight or recessed ports and reduces strain on the connection. A higher gauge power line increases current-carrying capacity, and twisted data lines help maintain signal integrity for USB 2.0 transfer rates. The 1 m length offers a balance between reach and manageable cable routing.

Suitable for

• External HDD enclosures with Mini-USB B ports
• Digital cameras and camcorders that use Mini-USB B
• Older mobile phones and personal navigation devices
• Connecting Mini-USB B devices to a computer USB A port

How to use

Insert the angled Mini-USB B plug into the device’s Mini-USB female port, ensuring the orientation matches the port shape. Connect the USB A plug to a computer or USB power source. The angled connector is particularly useful when the device port is recessed or positioned close to a surface; align the cable so it exits without bending sharply. Use the cable for data transfer or device charging according to the connected device’s specifications.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid excessive bending near the angled connector and do not apply sideways force while the cable is plugged in. Use the cable at distances up to 1 m and within USB 2.0 speed and power limitations.
