Vandkøler EK Water Blocks

EK-VRM ASUS ROG Dominus Extreme is a liquid cooling monoblock engineered specifically for the ASUS ROG Dominus motherboard. It cools the voltage regulation module (VRM) components by directing liquid flow over MOSFETs and coil inductors, improving thermal performance and supporting stable overclocking while also increasing motherboard rigidity through an all-metal construction. The base is nickel-plated electrolytic copper and the top is made of nickel-plated brass. The EK badge features integrated RGB illumination with a 4-pin 12V RGB LED connector compatible with the motherboard LED header or standard 12V 4-pin LED controllers and fully supports ASUS AURA control software.

Advantages

The monoblock provides targeted cooling for the VRM section of the ASUS ROG Dominus motherboard, reducing component temperatures and helping maintain stable power delivery during high loads and overclocking. Its all-metal design adds mechanical rigidity to the motherboard. Direct liquid flow over critical areas ensures efficient heat transfer, while nickel-plated copper base and brass top offer durable, corrosion-resistant construction. Integrated RGB lighting connects via a standard 4-pin 12V header and is compatible with ASUS AURA.

Suitable for

• ASUS ROG Dominus motherboard owners needing VRM cooling
• Users planning high or sustained CPU overclocks
• Custom liquid-cooling PC builds focused on performance and durability

Key specifications

• Compatibility: ASUS ROG Dominus motherboard VRM section
• Material (base): nickel-plated electrolytic copper
• Material (top): nickel-plated brass
• Cooling target: MOSFETs and coil inductors (VRM)
• RGB: EK badge with integrated RGB, 4-pin 12V connector, ASUS AURA support

How to use

Mount the EK-VRM monoblock directly onto the VRM section of the ASUS ROG Dominus motherboard following the included installation instructions and torque specifications. Connect the liquid-cooling loop to the block's inlet and outlet using compatible fittings and tubing. Attach the 4-pin 12V RGB connector to the motherboard 4-pin header or to a compatible 12V RGB controller to enable lighting control. Verify leak-free connections and test the loop at low pump speed before full operation.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-inhibited coolant compatible with copper and brass components, perform pressure/leak tests after installation, and monitor temperatures during initial use to confirm effective VRM cooling. Ensure fittings are rated for your tubing and that the RGB connector is attached to a 12V 4-pin header to avoid damage.
