How to use

Remove the existing handle following the manufacturer instructions for your window hardware, align the Olympia FGS 100 Silver with the spindle and fixing points, and secure it using appropriate screws. Ensure the spindle engages the window locking mechanism and check that the handle operates smoothly through its full range of motion. If required, make minor adjustments to spindle length or mounting position so the locking mechanism fully engages and releases without binding. For final safety and performance, verify locking function with the window closed and open several times.

Recommendations

Use suitable stainless or zinc-plated screws to prevent galvanic corrosion with the handle’s aluminium surface. Periodically check and tighten fixing screws, and keep the spindle and locking mechanism free of debris and excessive lubricant to maintain smooth operation.
