Goobay CAT 5e patchkabel RJ-45 10 m sort

Network Cable Goobay CAT 5e Patch Cable RJ-45 10 m Black is a 10 m black CAT 5e patch cable with copper-clad aluminium wire (CCA) conductors and an F/UTP shielding design. One end features a 90° angled RJ45 plug (8P8C) to simplify connections in space-constrained installations. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and a robust outer sheath provide reliable high-speed signal transmission for home and small office networks.

Advantages

The cable supports CAT 5e performance for fast data transfer and stable connections. F/UTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve contact reliability. The 90° angled connector eases installation behind equipment or in tight cable runs. Durable jacket material increases mechanical protection and handling longevity.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and modems in home networks
• Patch connections in small office LANs
• Cabling behind wall-mounted TVs, network cabinets or desks with limited space

Key specifications

• Cable type: CAT 5e patch cable
• Length: 10 m
• Conductor: copper-clad aluminium (CCA)
• Shielding: F/UTP
• Connectors: RJ-45 (8P8C), one end 90° angled
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports on your devices until they click into place. Use the 90° angled end where space is limited to avoid bending the cable excessively. Route the cable to minimise sharp bends and avoid running parallel to power cables to reduce interference. For rack or wall installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Do not subject the cable to excessive pulling force or repeated tight bends; avoid exposure to liquids and direct sunlight. For critical or long-distance links and higher network speeds consider using higher-category cables (e.g., CAT6/CAT6a) with full copper conductors.
