How to use

Before use, inspect the ear plugs for damage or contamination. Clean and dry hands before handling. Roll or compress the ear plug if applicable, insert into the ear canal following the manufacturer’s recommended technique to achieve a snug fit, and hold in place until the plug expands or seats comfortably. Ensure the ear plug forms an effective seal; when correctly fitted, external noise should be noticeably reduced. Remove by gently twisting and pulling; clean and store the ear plugs in the polybag between uses. Replace the ear plugs if they show signs of wear, become hard or damaged, or if hygiene is compromised.

Recommendations

Use the 3M 1310C1 where an SNR of 26 dB is suitable for reducing ambient noise. Confirm that the attenuation meets workplace or activity-specific requirements and follow local occupational safety guidance. Regularly inspect, clean and replace the ear plugs as required to maintain protection and hygiene. Do not use in environments where hearing protection alone is insufficient for communicated alarms or where specific certified devices are mandated.
