How to use

Install the motion detector at the recommended height on a stable wall or ceiling surface, avoiding direct exposure to heating vents or reflective surfaces that could affect sensor performance. After mounting, adjust the sensitivity and range controls according to the expected traffic and ambient conditions, then test detection by walking through the coverage area. Fine-tune settings to minimise false alarms while ensuring required coverage. Follow local electrical safety rules during installation and, if necessary, consult a qualified installer for wiring and integration with lighting or alarm systems.

Recommendations

Position the detector to face the primary approach route and avoid pointing it at sources of rapid temperature change. Periodically check and, if needed, clean the sensor window to maintain reliable detection. For outdoor sheltered locations, ensure the unit is protected from direct rain and large temperature extremes to prolong service life.
