Borepatron Metabo 636608000

The Metabo 636608000 drill chuck is a compact accessory designed to hold and secure drill bits with a clamping range from 1.5 mm to 13 mm. Constructed with durable plastic components, the chuck provides a lightweight solution for light- to medium-duty drilling tasks while maintaining reliable bit retention and straightforward mounting to compatible drill spindles. Its dimensional range makes it suitable for a variety of common drill bit sizes used in woodworking, metalworking and general maintenance tasks.

Advantages

The plastic construction reduces overall weight without compromising functionality, making handling easier during repetitive operations. The 1.5 mm minimum and 13 mm maximum capacity accommodate a broad range of twist and brad-point drill bits. The chuck is designed to deliver steady clamping force for improved bit stability and to simplify bit changes during routine work.

Suitable for

• General household drilling and light DIY projects
• Woodworking tasks requiring small to medium drill bit sizes
• Light metal drilling and maintenance operations
• Workshops where a lightweight, easy-to-handle chuck is preferred

Key specifications

• Clamping capacity: 1.5 mm – 13 mm
• Material: plastic housing/components
• Application: manual and powered drilling with compatible spindles
• Designed for use with standard drill bits (twist, brad-point, etc.) within capacity range

How to use

Fit the chuck to a compatible drill spindle following the drill manufacturer's instructions for mounting accessories. Insert the drill bit into the chuck jaws within the specified capacity range, then tighten securely to ensure the bit is centered and held firmly. For removal, loosen the chuck jaws and withdraw the bit. Regularly inspect the chuck for wear or damage and ensure it is properly seated on the spindle before operation.

Recommendations

Use the chuck with drill bits that match the 1.5–13 mm range and avoid forcing oversized bits. Keep the chuck clean and free of debris, and replace it if repeated slipping or damage occurs to maintain safe and accurate drilling performance.
