Cimco 101055 håndkabelsaks

The Hand cable cutter Cimco 101055 is a compact precision tool for cutting electrical and communication cables. At 148 mm in length and approximately 20 g in weight, it is designed for comfortable one-handed operation and portability. The tool includes a red ergonomic handle for a secure grip and a sharp cutting mechanism that produces clean, controlled cuts with minimal deformation to cable cores.

Advantages

This hand cable cutter combines small size with effective cutting performance, making it suitable for tight spaces and overhead work. The lightweight construction reduces user fatigue during repetitive tasks, and the ergonomically shaped red handle improves grip stability. The cutting edges are designed to deliver accurate, burr-free cuts that facilitate connector termination and cable preparation.

Suitable for

• Cutting electrical single-core and multi-core cables
• Preparing communication and low-voltage cables for termination
• Use in tight or confined workspaces
• Portable tool kit for electricians and DIY enthusiasts

Key specifications

• Overall length: 148 mm
• Weight: approximately 20 g
• Handle: red, ergonomic design for secure grip
• Function: manual cable cutting with sharp cutting blades for clean cuts
• Construction: compact, lightweight metal cutting head with plastic-coated handle

How to use

Position the cable between the cutting blades at the desired cutting point, keeping fingers clear of the cutting area. Squeeze the handles firmly and steadily until the blades have fully cut through the cable. For thicker or multi-layer cables, make a controlled progressive cut rather than forcing the tool. Inspect the cut end for burrs and trim if necessary before terminating or fitting connectors.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect the cutting edges for wear and keep them clean to maintain cutting quality. Use protective eyewear when cutting under tension or in environments with loose insulation fragments. Store the tool in a dry place and avoid exposing it to corrosive substances to prolong service life.
