Diskanthøjttaler-driver Omnitronic 11300050

The Omnitronic 11300050 is a rectangular tweeter speaker driver designed to reproduce high-frequency audio with clarity and low distortion. With an RMS rating of 25 W and compact outer dimensions of 188 x 80 mm and a mounting depth of 105 mm, this driver is suitable for retrofit and custom speaker builds where space and weight are constrained. The unit is lightweight at approximately 80 g and is supplied as a single driver, allowing flexible installation in pairs or individually depending on system design.

Advantages

The tweeter delivers focused high-frequency response while keeping physical size and weight minimal, which simplifies integration into cabinets and enclosures. Its rated power handling provides sufficient headroom for typical home and small-venue applications. The rectangular shape enables alternative mounting orientations and efficient use of front baffle area compared with round drivers of similar dimensions. Being sold as a single unit makes it practical for targeted replacements or staged upgrades.

How to use

Install the tweeter into a suitably sized cutout in the speaker baffle or enclosure, ensuring the mounting depth of 105 mm is available behind the front panel. Observe correct polarity when wiring to the crossover or amplifier output to maintain phase coherence with other drivers. Use an appropriate high-pass filter or crossover network to protect the tweeter and to define its operating frequency range within the loudspeaker system. Secure mechanical connections and verify that the enclosure provides adequate damping to avoid unwanted resonances.

Recommendations

For longevity and consistent performance, operate the tweeter within its rated power and pair it with midrange and woofer drivers that match its dispersion and sensitivity characteristics. When integrating into existing systems, check impedance compatibility and use a crossover slope suitable for the tweeter to reduce distortion and prevent overload during transients.
