Equip SC/SC fiber-patchkabel, OM4, 1 m

The Equip SC/SC Fiber Optic Patch Cable OM4 1m is designed for high-speed data transmission in network and telecommunications environments. Made from quality materials and featuring OM4 multimode fiber with a 50 µm core diameter, this 1-meter patch cable with SC connectors on both ends supports reliable full-duplex connections and efficient bandwidth use over moderate distances.

Advantages

The cable offers low insertion loss and high return loss due to precise endface geometry and quality connectors. Its OM4 specification improves modal bandwidth and supports higher data rates compared with lower-grade multimode fibers. The standardized SC connectors ensure simple push-pull mating and wide compatibility with data center and telecom equipment.

Suitable for

• Interconnects in data centers
• Telecommunications links and patch panels
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections
• Local multimode fiber runs requiring OM4 performance

Key specifications

• Brand: EQUIP
• Model / MPN: 255521
• EAN: 4015867178713
• Fiber type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC (both ends)
• Length: 1 m

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and clean if necessary with appropriate fiber-cleaning tools. Insert the SC connectors into the corresponding SC adapters or equipment ports until they click into place, ensuring correct alignment and secure mating. For removal, depress the SC latch and pull straight out. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical strain, observing minimum bend radius recommendations for multimode fiber.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM4 patch cable in a clean, dry environment, avoid kinking or excessive pulling, and perform regular endface inspections to maintain optimal optical performance.
