Fiberkabel EFB Elektronik O0323FT.35

The EFB Elektronik O0323FT.35 is a 35 m OM4 fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors, designed for high-speed data transmission. It features a flat twin duplex jumper construction with an additional outer jacket made of LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), which increases mechanical stability and aids identification with its violet color. The cable uses the I‑V(ZN) HH type construction for improved durability and flexibility, making it suitable for indoor and protected outdoor installations.

Advantages

The additional outer jacket gives higher stability compared with standard jumpers and protects the internal fibres from mechanical stress. The LSZH jacket material reduces toxic smoke emission in case of fire. The flat twin duplex design and combination of LC and SC connectors simplify installation and patching in data centres and telecom racks.

Suitable for

• High-speed network links (OM4 multimode)
• Data centres and server rooms
• Telecom patch panels and fibre distribution frames
• Indoor installations and protected outdoor runs

How to use

Route the fibre jumper between equipment or patch panels, avoiding sharp bends and excessive pulling force. Connect LC and SC ends to the corresponding adapter ports, ensuring connectors are clean before mating. Secure the cable with appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors and maintain bend radius according to OM4 specifications.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep connectors clean and store the cable coiled without tight bends. Use the LSZH jacket cable in indoor environments or where low smoke emission is required; avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or unprotected harsh outdoor conditions.
