Fiberoptisk Keystone Snap-in adapter InLine 89988F

The InLine Fiber optical Keystone Snap-in adaptor 89988F is a simplex SC/SC keystone connector with a ceramic sleeve and flat construction. It is designed for use with SC-terminated fiber cables and fits keystone-compatible patch panels, wall plates, floor boxes and similar installation frames. The adaptor is supplied in white and suited for multimode fiber applications.

Advantages

The snap-in (Keystone) format allows quick, tool-free mounting into standardized keystone openings. A ceramic sleeve ensures precise alignment of SC ferrules for low loss and stable optical connections. Its flat, compact design makes it easy to install in dense patch panels and slim wall plates, and the single-piece packaging simplifies small-scale deployments.

Suitable for

• Simplex SC to SC fiber connections
• Multimode fiber installations
• Keystone patch panels, wall sockets and floor tank sockets
• Network cabinets and structured cabling in commercial or residential premises

How to use

Insert the InLine keystone adaptor into a compatible keystone opening until it snaps into place. Terminate SC-terminated fiber cables by plugging their SC connectors into each side of the adaptor until a secure, audible click is felt. Verify the connection with appropriate optical test equipment if precise insertion loss measurements are required.

Recommendations

Use the adaptor in keystone-compatible frames only and avoid excessive force during insertion or removal. For reliable performance, keep ferrule endfaces clean and inspect or clean connectors before mating to minimize insertion loss and reflectance.
