Gedore 1837087 Målestok

Gedore 1837087 is a robust 2 m folding ruler made from branch-free beechwood with brass protective caps and invisible metal fittings. It features a riveted joint that maintains correct measurement in humid or dry conditions and an easy-to-read metric dual scale with continuous millimetre divisions; accuracy class III and EG-design approval. The ruler weighs approximately 86 g and is intended for precise linear measurement tasks in workshops, construction and DIY projects.

Advantages

The folding ruler combines durable materials—beechwood, brass caps and concealed metal fittings—for long service life. Its riveted joint resists deformation from moisture changes, preserving measurement accuracy. The continuous mm division and dual metric scale ensure clear, precise readings for a variety of tasks while the 2 m length allows measurement of longer elements without additional tools.

How to use

Unfold the ruler fully and lock the sections straight for extended measurements. Read values from the metric dual scale using the continuous millimetre markings for the most precise reading. When measuring around corners or along irregular surfaces, align the ruler carefully and support it to avoid sagging. Fold the ruler back section by section for transport or storage.

Recommendations

Store the ruler flat or folded in a dry place to minimise warping. Clean wood surfaces from dust and grease; avoid prolonged exposure to water. Periodically check the riveted joints for play to ensure continued measurement accuracy.
