Leddelmålestok træ Cimco 210004

The Cimco 210004 folding ruler is a wooden measuring tool designed for straightforward, accurate length measurement up to 2 meters. Constructed from durable wood with articulated metal joints, this compact folding ruler folds down to a small size for convenient storage while providing metric graduations for tasks requiring precise distance checks. The black and white finish improves scale readability and supports use in workshops, construction sites, and DIY projects.

Advantages

The wooden construction combines rigidity with a lightweight feel, giving stable measurements without excessive weight. Articulated hinges allow smooth unfolding and secure locking of segments, enabling the full 2 m reach with minimal play. The clear metric scale and contrasting black-and-white marking enhance visibility under varied lighting conditions. The folding design reduces storage space and protects the scale when not in use.

How to use

Unfold the ruler completely until all hinged segments are aligned and the joints lock into place to achieve the full 2 m measurement range. Place the zero end at the starting point and read the desired measurement along the metric scale. For measurements spanning corners or irregular surfaces, hold the ruler firmly against the workpiece and ensure joints are flush to avoid gaps that affect accuracy. After use, fold the segments back carefully to protect the scale and hinges before storing.

Recommendations

Keep the ruler dry and clean to preserve the wooden surface and printed markings. Avoid exposure to prolonged moisture or extreme temperature changes which can affect wood stability and measurement accuracy. Inspect hinge joints periodically and tighten or service if excessive play develops. For precision-critical tasks, verify measurements with a calibrated measuring device.
