InLine USB 3.2-adapter, intern USB-E frontpanel-han til USB-A-hun

The InLine USB 3.2 adapter is an internal connector that converts a motherboard front-panel USB-E (internal USB 3.2 Gen 2 header) to an external USB-A female socket. It enables connection of external USB-A devices to the PC front-panel USB 3.2 interface and supports data transfer rates up to 10 Gb/s. The adapter is compact (28 mm × 15 mm × 7 mm) and finished in grey to match typical internal components.

Advantages

This adapter provides a simple, space-saving solution for converting an internal USB-E front-panel connector to a standard USB-A receptacle without requiring additional cables. Supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 ensures high-speed data transfer up to 10 Gb/s. Its small dimensions make it easy to install inside a case and position behind a front panel opening.

Suitable for

• Connecting external USB-A devices (flash drives, external SSDs, peripherals) to the computer front-panel USB 3.2 port
• Internal PC installations where a compact adapter is required
• Upgrading cases or motherboards to expose a usable USB-A port on the front panel

Recommendations

Use the adapter only with a compatible motherboard front-panel USB-E (USB 3.2 Gen 2) header. Avoid forcing the connector; align pins carefully. For best performance, connect USB 3.2 Gen 2-capable devices and use appropriate cables to achieve the listed 10 Gb/s transfer rate.
