Strømforsyning Argus BPS-850 850W

The Argus BPS-850 850W is a high-performance power supply unit designed for mid-to-high-end desktop systems. Offering 850 watts of continuous output, this INTER-TECH PSU supports demanding hardware configurations while maintaining operational stability. The unit integrates multiple protection mechanisms — including over-voltage protection (OVP), over-current protection (OCP) and short-circuit protection (SCP) — to safeguard connected components. High efficiency reduces wasted energy and lowers heat output, and an integrated low-noise cooling fan provides steady airflow to maintain safe operating temperatures.

Advantages

The Argus BPS-850 combines a high continuous power rating with built-in electrical protections to ensure reliable performance under load. Its efficient design minimizes power loss and heat generation, while the quiet cooling fan contributes to a reduced acoustic footprint. Compact installation dimensions and standard connector sets make it compatible with common ATX-compatible enclosures and components.

Suitable for

• Gaming PCs with single or multi-GPU configurations
• Workstations used for content creation or CAD applications
• Upgraded or power-hungry desktop systems
• Home servers and always-on systems with moderate thermal requirements

Key specifications

• Continuous output power: 850 W
• Protection features: over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit protection
• Cooling: quiet internal fan for active airflow
• Efficiency: high-efficiency design to reduce energy consumption and heat
• Form factor: standard ATX-compatible power supply

How to use

Install the power supply into an ATX-compatible case following the case and power supply mounting instructions. Connect the 24-pin main motherboard connector, CPU power connector, PCIe connectors for graphics cards, and SATA/Molex connectors for drives and peripherals as required. Ensure all connections are firmly seated and routed to avoid obstructing case airflow. After installation, verify that the system powers on and monitor voltages and fan operation during initial startup and under load.

Recommendations

Place the unit in a case with adequate ventilation and avoid blocking the intake or exhaust paths. Use in environments with recommended ambient temperatures and ensure periodic cleaning of dust filters and fan areas to maintain cooling efficiency. Verify that connected components’ combined power draw remains within the 850 W capacity, allowing headroom for peak loads.
