Interfacekort DeLOCK 89458

The DeLOCK 89458 is an internal PCI Express interface card that adds one SFF-8643 (Mini-SAS) port to a desktop PC. With a PCIe host interface and a maximum data transfer rate of 12 Gbit/s, the card is designed to connect devices such as U.2 SSDs via an optional cable. The model supports Windows 10 Education and Enterprise editions and comes in a silver, green and black design.

Advantages

This interface card provides a compact way to expand system connectivity by adding a Mini‑SAS SFF-8643 port. It supports high data throughput up to 12 Gbit/s over the PCIe host interface and is compatible with U.2 storage devices when used with the appropriate cable. The internal design fits standard desktop systems and is available in a professional colour scheme.

How to use

Power off the PC and disconnect it from the mains. Insert the card into an available PCIe slot on the motherboard and secure it in the case. If connecting a U.2 SSD, attach the optional SFF‑8643 to U.2 cable to the card's SFF‑8643 port and to the U.2 drive. Reconnect power, start the system and install any required drivers for Windows 10 Education or Enterprise if the OS does not recognise the device automatically.

Recommendations

Ensure the optional cable for U.2 devices is compatible with SFF‑8643 and rated for the supported data rate. Confirm available PCIe slot bandwidth on the motherboard to achieve optimal performance.
