Krympeflex DeLOCK 20663

The DeLOCK 20663 heat shrink tube is made of durable polyolefin and finished in black. It provides electrical insulation and mechanical protection for cables, wires and connections by shrinking tightly around them when heated. The tubing is suitable for workshop and industrial use and is intended to protect against weather influence and mechanical damage.

Advantages

The polyolefin material ensures durable electrical insulation and resistance to abrasion. With a 2:1 shrinkage ratio, the tube conforms reliably to different diameters and shapes, creating a tight protective layer. Its black colour offers a discreet finish and good UV resistance for outdoor or exposed installations.

Suitable for

• Insulating wire joints and soldered connections
• Protecting cable ends and splices
• Strain relief on connectors and terminals
• Workshop repairs and industrial assemblies

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Manufacturer part number (MPN): 20663
• EAN: 4043619206636
• Material: Polyolefin
• Colour: Black
• Shrinkage ratio: 2:1

How to use

Slide the appropriate length of heat shrink tube over the cable or connection so it fully covers the area to be insulated. Apply heat evenly using a hot air gun, heat shrink oven or suitable heat source while avoiding direct flame. Heat until the tubing contracts uniformly and conforms to the underlying surface, then allow to cool to form a secure insulating layer.

Recommendations

Select a tube with an expanded diameter that is at most twice the largest cable diameter so that after shrinking it provides a tight fit. Use a temperature-controlled hot air gun and keep the heat source moving to prevent overheating. For outdoor use, verify material suitability for prolonged UV exposure.
