Krympeslange DeLOCK 18979 sort 1m 2,2cm

The DeLOCK 18979 heat shrink tube is a 1 meter long polyolefin sleeve with a maximum diameter of 2.2 cm in black finish. It is designed to protect and insulate cables, electrical tubes and wire connections by shrinking around them when heat is applied, providing a tight, durable covering that resists environmental influences and mechanical wear.

Advantages

This heat shrink tube is made of polyolefin for reliable electrical insulation and mechanical protection. Its 1 m length and 2.2 cm maximum diameter accommodate a range of cable bundles. The black colour offers a discreet appearance and additional UV resistance for typical outdoor and indoor uses. The sleeve forms a secure fit when heated, reducing exposure to moisture and abrasion.

Suitable for

• Insulating and protecting individual wires and cable joints
• Repairing damaged cable insulation
• Bundling and organizing cable runs in electrical installations
• Protecting connections in automotive, marine and household applications

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 18979
• EAN: 4043619189793
• Material: Polyolefin
• Colour: Black
• Length: 1 m

How to use

Slide the heat shrink tube over the cable or joint so the area to be insulated is fully covered. Apply heat evenly along the sleeve with a heat gun, hot air tool or suitable heat source until the tube contracts and conforms tightly to the cable. Allow the tube to cool so it sets in place before handling the cable further.

Recommendations

For best results, use a regulated heat gun to heat evenly and avoid overheating. Select a tube diameter that provides some slack before shrinking, and ensure cables are clean and dry. Do not use open flame directly on the sleeve and observe appropriate safety measures for electrical work.
